Born in San Diego and raised in Cleveland, Joe has been playing guitar for nearly 30 years. He moved to Chicago in 2001, and along with James (drums) and wife Ashley (management, sound, and lighting), founded the alternative rock cover band Uncle Rico. The group played many top venues around the city, and won the "Battle of the Cover Bands" competition at The Original Mother's in July 2007. During this time, they met the members of One99 and soon after decided to start a new project...Pipe Dream!
