Originally from Boston, MA, James has been a percussionist for well over 20 years. During that time he has been involved in many projects and had the opportunity to record albums with Boston area groups; M.A.J. (1989), Obsidian (1991) and PHOR (2001). Most recently, James recorded tracks with longtime friend Peter Takacs of the Washington, D.C. based band 7 Locks.The forthcoming 7 Locks album is due to be released in 2008.

In the summer of 2003 James played & toured Southern New England with one of Boston’s elite cover bands Six Shot Brody.

Since moving to Chicago in 2005, James was one of the founding members of Chicago’s Alternative Rock cover band Uncle Rico. The band enjoyed great success early on and played some of Chicago’s top venues.

He is very excited to be part of Pipe Dream and looks forward to Rock Chicagoland with such a fantastic lineup!!!!!
